Back Paddock
Farm Tours

We are so excited to announce that bookings for our Back Paddock Tours are now open!

Hop aboard our buggy and experience the true essence of an Australian working farm. As we drive through the beating heart of Windy Station, you'll get a genuine, behind-the-scenes look at everyday farm life and how it changes from season to season; the good, the bad and ugly. With stunning Australian landscapes as your backdrop, this immersive tour offers a unique opportunity to connect with the land and the hardworking farmers who bring it to life.

As part of the tour, we’ll welcome you for Q&A time with one of our team in the smoko room, complete with some homemade treats and a cuppa.

  • "Our partnership with Windy Station has been transformative for our students. The excursions they offer provide a rare and invaluable opportunity for young people to engage directly with the whole farm business and to embed their learning of processes in a hands-on, immersive way. What stands out most is the way students leave the farm feeling inspired—not just by the work they’ve done, and the learning that has occurred, but by the passionate people they’ve met. The team at Windy are exceptional educators and role models, showing our students that agriculture is not only vital but also full of innovation, purpose, and possibility. Our Year 11 and 12 excursions have helped our students see agriculture not just as a subject, but as a future. We’re deeply grateful for the impact Windy Station continues to have on our learning community."

  • ‘As a boarder in Sydney it felt good to get away from the busyness and escape for a few days with scenic views surrounding the farm. I learnt about the importance of agriculture business & relationships to Windy. I am very thankful to be able to visit Windy and it encouraged me to explore Agriculture more.’
