ABOUT

Windy Station

Agricultural Heritage on the Liverpool Plains since 1833

Windy Station is 60,000 acres of prime agricultural land on the fertile black soils of the Liverpool Plains. Owned by the Schwarzenbach family as part of Romani Pastoral Company, we balance productive farming with environmental stewardship and a commitment to sharing our unique way of life.

From Sheep Station to Agricultural Showcase

Windy Station’s story began in 1833 as part of the Australian Agricultural Company’s holdings. In 1997, the Schwarzenbach family acquired the property, bringing fresh vision while honouring its historical significance.

Today, we continue to write new chapters by preserving heritage buildings, implementing sustainable farming practices, and opening our gates to visitors seeking authentic connection to Australian agriculture.
